We booked a few days in advance, and the reservation process was super smooth. Our 8:30pm time slot ended up being perfect--we got to enjoy dinner and catch the Disney fireworks show from our table. Pro tip: reserve between 8:30-9pm if you want dinner with a side of sparkle in the sky. We were seated right away, and the food came out fast. The outdoor ambiance was cozy and romantic--dim lighting, a crackling fire nearby, and sweeping views of the surrounding cities. Even with the hotel pool behind us and the freeway down below, it still felt pretty peaceful and intimate. We kicked things off with drinks: I had the Hibiscus Glow, which was tangy, sweet, and totally my kind of cocktail. I also sampled the Meridian Ember--it had a bold, smoky vibe with warm cinnamon notes. Definitely a unique combo! For the food: 14oz Prime Beef Striploin (medium rare) - Incredibly flavorful and tender. Heads up: it cools quickly, so don't linger too long if you want it at peak perfection. Wild Atlantic Salmon - Crispy edges, melt-in-your-mouth center. The rich mojo verde sauce paired beautifully with the artichokes, and the butter beans added a fun, unexpected texture. Yes, it's on the pricier side, but portions were solid--I left full and happy. And honestly, how often do you get to say you ate salmon under the glow of Disney fireworks?

Brought my wife here for her bday, do get the window seat, it's a little extra. Server was great, food was even better. Restaurant is on the 12th floor, really lively, not that loud where you can't hear each other talk. We had some amazing dishes, but I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. Great night, we'll definitely be back.

We've been to Top of the V several times. The food is pricey and the portions are very small... but everything we've ordered tasted great. We like to come here for the ambiance and to catch the Disneyland fireworks show. The restaurant faces Disneyland and has a full wall of windows. You get a full unobstructed view of the Disneyland fireworks show. Best seats anywhere outside of Disneyland. Last night, we reserved premium window seats at the bar/lounge area. They require $10 per person advanced payment to reserve those seats and we splurged on them for a friend's birthday. They have a maximum of four seats you can reserve at the window, but when I called the restaurant to see if we could fit in a fifth person, they said sure, but it might be a little tight since the seating area has two loveseats facing each other. When we got seated, we thought it was spacious enough to easily accommodate a party of six for drinks... but not for dinner since the coffee table was kind of small. We went just for drinks and to catch the fireworks show. We also ordered the chef's choice cheese and Iberico platter which was excellent. The only reason I'm giving this place four stars is the poor service we received once we got seated. The server was hardly to be found and it took awhile for her to come take our drink order. She also started clearing our plates and silverware while we still had some elements of our $45 cheese platter that we were still nibbling on. I had to stop her and ask for another fork since she took my other fork that I was still using. For a restaurant in this price range, not to mention the $40 we paid to reserve those seats, I expected better service overall. They validate parking in the hotel lobby for restaurant guests which is a plus. It's definitely a unique experience and I highly recommend it, but service is hit or mis

Surprisingly good Spanish food at a hotel. My friend from Arizona was staying here and we were in town at the same time and we decided to meet up. Because of some miscommunication he thought we were having dinner at his hotel so we came and got a table for 6 instead of where I thought we would be eating. It's a rooftop restaurant and there is indoor and outdoor seating. You can see Disneyland fireworks from here but it was too cold outside so we sat inside. Iberico Pork Chop: cooked medium was perfect, the fat content is so high I like more of the fat rendered out and it's still tender and delicious. It's cooked on the bone but plated with the large parts of pork sliced off, my favorite part was gnawing the parts left on the bone. Very nice entree. Land and sea Bomba: Paella was well cooked and came with bits of chorizo, mussels, clams, and shrimp. They didn't use the saffron sparingly and the flavor was superb. Charred octopus: way too good with mashed potato foam. My favorite dish, the octopus was tender and had that distinct grill taste, the espuma potatoes should be a more standard way of making potatoes, so light and airy. Patatas bravas: my friend really wanted French fries and I convinced him these would be better. They were undercooked though and not as soft as they should have been. Golden Horizon cocktail: like a light alcohol version of an orange bang. There are a lot of fancy ingredients like gray whale gin and campari but the strongest flavors came from the foamed egg white and creamsicle.

Came here to celebrate V-day at Top of The V. Intimate dining room with views of Disney. We were able to catch the fireworks and it was so cool! The outdoor patio looked cute too, but it was way too cold. The food was yummy. I think we could have omitted the bread and tomato. Very bland in flavor in my opinion. The drinks were delicious! The bomba rice/paella was good and wasn't as salty as others have mentioned. The beef striploin was tender and the chimichurri complemented it well (you have to order this separately). From the host to our server, we were greeted with smiles and friendly vibes. Our server was attentive and answered all our questions. Another server/worker saw us taking photos and offered to take photos of us. Overall a great night.

Top of The V is hands down one of the best rooftop dining spots I've been to. Sitting on the top floor of The Viv Hotel, it offers incredible views of Anaheim, and Disneyland feels right there--not off in the distance, but close enough that you can clearly see the fireworks and lights from the park. It adds this amazing energy to the experience, like you're part of the magic without actually being inside the park. I sat at the bar inside, and it was the perfect spot--great atmosphere, stylish but comfortable, with bartenders who really know what they're doing. As a margarita connoisseur, I had to try their take on it, and it did not disappoint. Their specialty cocktails were all top-notch, but the margaritas, in particular, were perfectly balanced--fresh, flavorful, and with just the right amount of kick. Plus, the pours here are generous, which is always a win. For dinner, I went with the rack of lamb, cooked medium, and it was perfect. Super tender, seasoned just right, and so good that I actually had to talk myself out of ordering another one to bring down to my room. Their menu leans into Spanish flavors, and from what I saw coming out of the kitchen, everything looked incredible. After dinner, I took my drink outside to one of the fire tables, which was the perfect way to wrap up the night. The warm glow of the fire, the city lights, and Disneyland right there in front of you--it's just an unbeatable setting. Top of The V isn't just a great restaurant; it's an experience. If you're in Anaheim, don't miss it.

Wow what a beautiful restaurant located on the 12th floor of the modern Viv Hotel overlooking the view of Anaheim, particularly Disneyland. Fireworks for Disney are typically 9:30pm, as a heads up. Parking garage is validated by the front desk of the hotel, so make sure you get that before leaving! Came here for my birthday and boy did the overall experience not disappoint. It's a good mix of a classy, casual, hip place to enjoy the view and food. All the food on the menu sounded amazing, and reasonably priced. Land and Sea Rice paella was very tasty, not salty as you'd typically get at other places. I'd wish they give a bigger portion, I'd eat it all! The waitress recommended the shrimps and octopus, and she was right they were great ! 10/10 on everything! Drinks were well crafted without it overly strong or sweet. Definitely recommend to come here whether it's a special occasion, business meeting, or simply if you like great quality food and service at a beautiful restaurant ! It's located inside a beautiful clean somewhat Disney-themed hotel as well.

We visited Top of The V on our anniversary, and I think we made the right choice! We had an appointment at 5 p.m. on Saturday, but when we arrived at the restaurant, it wasn't open yet. We waited about 5 minutes, and then we were seated. Since we were the first group, they allowed us to pick our preferred seating, which was right next to the window with a view of downtown Anaheim and Disneyland Park. Top of The V is located on the 12th floor of The VIV Hotel Anaheim. It offers both indoor and outdoor seating areas. The classic yet modern interior was elegant and chic. The high ceiling and large windows with beautiful views of Anaheim and the sunset sky were absolutely enchanting. The food was fantastic! The Pan Cristal Bread ($14) was very special and great! The Mixed Baby Green Salad ($16) was refreshing and delicious. The Shrimp Al Ajillo Gambas ($19) was excellent. The Charred Octopus ($23) was flavorful and tender. The European Sea Bass ($55) was amazing--so tender and tasty, served with brown butter, macron almonds, and preserved lemon. I highly recommend this dish! The Iberian Pork Chop ($48), however, was a bit dry and less delightful. The cheese case for dessert provided the perfect, happy ending to this wonderful meal! The service was impeccable! Our server was professional and attentive. The view was breathtaking, especially with the fireworks from Disneyland visible right in front of us. Compared to the hustle and bustle of downtown LA, Anaheim is a great choice for a gorgeous-view restaurant like Top of The V, perfect for celebrating special days and events. We will definitely recommend Top of The V to our friends!

I've had this rooftop and restaurant bookmarked for a while, and last night I finally got the chance to visit. Located on the 12th floor of The Viv Hotel, it more than lived up to the hype. While the tables were fully booked, we were able to grab seats at the bar, which turned out to be a great spot. The ambiance was fantastic--stylish decor, a lively yet relaxed vibe, and excellent service from the staff. The city lights and a stunning view of Disney made the experience even more special. We started with the Octopus appetizer, which was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. For the main course, we shared the Seafood Paella, the restaurant's most popular dish, and it didn't disappoint. I appreciated how light and balanced it was--not overly heavy on the rice. We chatted with another couple at the bar who highly recommended the seabass, so that's on my list for next time. I'll definitely be back to try more dishes and, hopefully, score a table with one of those breathtaking views!
